The starting price, which includes a $1,400 destination charge, applies to base Long Range Single Motor models. They’re rated at 544 hp and 506 lb-ft off torque, compared to 272 hp and 253 lb-ft for Single Motor models.

We’re not holding our breath for that mythical $30,000 Chevrolet Equinox EV, but we figured retail versions of Chevy’s Silverado EV pickup truck and Blazer EV SUV would have reached the market by now. Now we’ve driven both.
