The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric minivan has been coming to North America for a long, long time. Ford, Hyundai, Kia, and GM will all launch vehicles into that segment over the next couple of years. On the other hand, it’s a minivan with sliding side doors. It also said nothing on predicted EPA range ratings.

GM has announced plans for public sales in 2010, and almost every carmaker now says it will sell PHEVs or highway-speed battery electric vehicles (BEVs) sometime after 2010. Company says its focusing on gasoline and hydrogen. todays answer is "Yes -- but not yet." In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China.
