IBM has teamed with American Honda Motor Co., and Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) on a new pilot project that will allow communication between electric vehicles (EVs) and the power grid. For example, the program can determine how many EVs are plugged in one neighborhood and the time it will take for each to reach a full charge.
