It successfully descended to Saturn's moon Titan in 2005 after being carried by the Cassini orbiter. Much of our frame of reference for designing landers—and their antennas—comes from Mars landers. For context, so far the only lander to explore the outer solar system is the European Space Agency 's Huygens lander.
