The SAE Taskforce on wireless charging and positioning of electric vehicles (SAE J2954) ( earlier post ) is progressing, and is slated to have a final draft of the guideline this year, according to the Society of Automotive Engineers, International (SAE). Under the emerging J2954 guidelines, communications for wireless charging will use DSRC.
