JRC report finds electric vehicles in Europe on the way to full-scale commercialization

The European Union appears to be undergoing a transition from the testing of and experimentation with electric vehicles to full-scale EV commercialization, according to a new report from the EU’s Joint Research Center (JRC). According to the team’s analysis, a total of 153,633 electric cars were registered in the EU from 2010 to 2014.

Tesla Model 3 SR Plus sold out in UK for Q2 despite zero EV purchase incentives

The company’s UK configurator states that customers who order Model 3 vehicles in any trim now have an August estimated delivery date. Estonia has the highest EV purchase grant in Europe with £15,500 ($21,622.36). With a price tag of £40,990 ($57,180.68), the Model 3 SR+ is not eligible for the UK’s plug-in grant.

European car market logs best year for alternative fueled vehicles, lowest diesel share since 2001
