The debut of the new Focus four-door sedan and the Focus Electric in New York follows the Geneva Motor Show debut in March of the Focus three- and five-door hatchback and wagon. Unlike other fossil fuels, natural gas plays a major role in most sectors of the modern economy—power generation, industrial, commercial and residential. Improved energy efficiency metrics, which allow consumers to accurately compare direct fuel and electricity end uses on a full fuel cycle basis, should be developed.
