Self-driving cars has been a focus of Uber for the last half of the decade with the company racking up about 80,000 autonomous miles a week as it strives to bring driverless cars into the mix. Uber’s also in the process of adding transit connection information to its app as it strives to become a one-stop mobility information service.

New vehicles to be deployed include 55 CNG vehicles, 363 propane vehicles, 89 hybrid electric vehicles, and 56 neighborhood electric vehicles. The project will provide a 700-mile LNG fueling corridor along one of the nation’s most heavily traveled truck routes for the movement of various goods. Total DOE award: $12,975,388.
