In the last few weeks, not only has Chrysler made announcements, so has Mazda, Hyundai, and Nissan. The tests are sufficiently advanced that Mazda has a working prototype in a Mazda 5 MPV bodyshell. He explained that Chrysler is currently demonstrating electric cars and plug-in hybrids to dealers to get their feedback.

The front-wheel drive Mazda MX-5 Miata and Hyundai Veloster R-Spec are wonderful, handle great and are zippy, but are not in the same conversation with the much larger, rear-wheel drive, more powerful and heavier Corvette Stingray.
