The recall documents further stated that the front and rear windows of these Porsche 911 models could have insufficient adhesion. The recall document has revealed that the problem lies with the adhesive used to bond front windshields and rear windows to the cars.

How about a car-mounted wind-generator? Toyota has had a battery recycling program since 1998 and even offers dealers a $200 bounty to ensure batteries arent just thrown away (described at end of linked document). We wont know how dealers will respond to service requests until we start driving converted cars.
