Another quirk is that if you leave the turn signal on after removing the ignition key, your tail light on that side stays on. I've left my turn signal on before, but the combination of the LED tail-lights and the deep-cycle accessory battery kept the car alive. Well, today my 12V battery died.

I only need existing wiring for lights, horns, wipers, rear defroster, etc. In place of the dome light, a custom control unit will be installed regulating EV systems such as the controller and charger. I bought an Advanced DC X91-4001. Batteries: I will be using Absorbed Glass Mat, Deep Cycle, Sealed Lead Acid Batteries.

I could drive a Class 8 truck over a light-duty charger, and it will activate one pad of that truck and still charge. We connect high-power communication lines into the DC charging system of the car. Overnight or deep-cycle discharge damages batteries, and high C rates degrade batteries because of the temperature created.
