T&E: Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands lead deployments of zero-emission buses in Europe

In Luxembourg and the Netherlands about two-thirds of new buses were zero-emissions. However, Germany is now financing 80% of the higher purchase cost of e-buses. And as part of the public procurement process, bus contracts should be awarded only to operators meeting or exceeding these targets.

MAN Lion’s City 18 E articulated electric bus to begin practical testing in Barcelona and Cologne later this year

As part of its e-mobility roadmap, MAN Truck & Bus is sending a fleet of demo e-buses to customers in five European countries this year. The fleet comprises 15 test vehicles, which will be deployed as part of everyday operations. This year, another 13 demo vehicles will be deployed in practice as part of the e-mobility roadmap.

The Coradia Lint is part of Alstom’s Coradia range of modular trains which benefit from more than 30 years of service experience and proven technical solutions. Even brake pads and discs have reduced wear due to brake energy recuperation.

The Mercedes-Benz eActros heavy-duty electric truck, with a range of up to 200 km, is in intensive use by customers in Germany and Switzerland as part of the eActros “innovation fleet”. eCitaro vehicles were also delivered to Luxembourg and Switzerland. The first hand-off to a customer was in 2018.

Arrival and Uber to collaborate on EV for ride-hailing industry; based on Small Vehicle Platform
