Mitsubishi to begin offering customers test drives of North American spec i-MiEV in November

With a 16 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, 47 kW (63 horsepower) electric motor and single-speed reduction gear transmission, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV has an approximate range of 160 kilometers (99 miles) in the Japanese 10-15 mode urban driving pattern and a top speed of approximately 130 km/h (81 mph).
