For the last 18 months, a fleet of 6 methanol-fueled versions of the Geely Emgrand 7 cars have been in Iceland. Hydrogen generation: Hydrogen can be generated by water electrolysis using MW-scale electrolyzer technology, utilizing renewable electricity to produce pressurized high purity H 2 and O 2 gases. The technology allows partners to valorise CO 2 and hydrogen from waste streams or electrolysis as a chemical feedstock or liquid fuel.
