After spending the past year and a half converting a Porsche 914 to an electric vehicle, I decided to expand my horizons by designing an open-source electric vehicle (EV) conversion kit for a commonly used car. Unfortunately, these kits are for much older vehicles like the Porsche 914 and the VW Rabbit.

One person suggested I send the adapter back to ElectroAuto since the cone was flawed. I never get up to 5000 RPM if I stay in 2nd gear in neighborhoods and 3rd gear on the freeway. I had to pull this thing off about twenty times to finally get the adapter face flat, so the $70 was well worth the effort.
