If you are one of those “I will never drive a minivan” type of persons, please keep reading. When Clean Fleet Report first reviewed the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in 2017, it was the only electrified minivan on the market. But the landscape has changed since 2017 as the 2021 Toyota Sienna minivan is now a hybrid. Ready to ride.

Several after-market companies have done PHEV conversions of the Ford Escape hybrid and one has done a retrofit of the F-150 pickup -- see Where PHEVs Are and ICE-Conversions.) Volvo Ford-owned company exploring PHEVs "ReCharge" flex-fuel series 60-mile concept PHEV w/wheel motors. Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs.

Let’s consider a simple example, say an EV conversion that has a 120V pack and a range of around 30 miles. If we wanted to recharge this from 110V domestic service we would need to pull 10,800,000/110 = 96,000 amps. Chrysler used this for their EPIC Minivan and could charge at a rate of about one mile per minute.

Please feel free to tell us what you believe to be the benefits of some of the various recharging modes mentioned above in the comments section below. Third, I dont understand why people feel it available in message chatting to speak in a manner they would doubtless not use in personal conversation. It does not reflect well upon you.
