The US Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy intends to issue three sustainable transportation technologies funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) in Spring 2021. This will involve partnerships with industry to demonstrate these technologies at industrially-relevant scales.

The Working Group consists of members undertaking research and development in the field of hydrogen combustion in an opposed-piston engine. The only criteria emission of concern is NO x.
