The general principle for bidirectional charging is EVs can either feed power from a charged vehicle back into the house (vehicle-to-home or V2H) or interact with the electric grid itself (vehicle-to-grid or V2G). In case of power outage at home, the DC pins in the charger can send juice back into the house, keeping the lights on.

The inverter converts the DC solar into AC power that can power the house or be directed back into the Grid as well as connecting up the Battery packs that uses 48 Volt DC. . If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. The fact that no journalists do their research to bring up all those connections is sad, sad. Call it the EV2?
