The two used the open-source Tesla high-density, lithium-ion battery to model their method of improving durability and increasing range, adding a controller to each of the battery’s cells. We know there are some battery cells that run out of juice earlier than others, and when they do, the others run less efficiently.

So while my car is powering the great city during the day how will I have juice to drive home at the end of the day? Does it, in essence, come down to the fact that V2G takes advantage of battery storage that would exist anyway , as opposed to requiring batteries specifically for the purpose of storing night-time electricity? One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. Forget the black helicopter conspiracies. based technology will actually achieve any economy in production. Interesting in any case.
