Harley-Davidson, the legendary and revered American manufacturer of motorcycles, announced that it is establishing LiveWire as a separate electric motorcycle brand on July 8,2021, just in time for the first of nine outdoor International Motorcycle Shows. I’ve always wondered how Harley would market its silent motorcycles.

Weve kept the summary table below generally up-to-date for passenger PHEVs, but not for BEVs, motorcycles or larger vehicles like buses and trucks. Showed BlueZERO E-CELL PLUS series PHEV concept in December 08. Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs. Plans Saturn Vue PHEV-10. Batteries not ready.

GM says it is already looking ahead to the next generation of Volt-based vehicles — it unveiled the Cadillac Converj concept in January — and says costs will come down as the technology spreads to more models. So my Saturn SC1 does the job great I am getting 35-38 miles on the Hwy and with over 232,000 miles and runs like a champ.
