Lifecycle study finds that environmental impacts of silicon-anode Li-ion battery could be roughly comparable with conventional Li-ion battery

For the study, the UW-Milwaukee team selected the metal-assisted chemical etching method for the SiNW synthesis due to its simplicity, low cost, and scalable advantages.
