Nissan Frontier Sentinel pickup concept unveiled in São Paulo; two LEAF battery packs

Nissan unveiled the Frontier Sentinel, a concept pickup truck designed by Nissan Brazil’s styling studio, at the 2018 São Paulo Motor Show. The top part of the cargo bed has a deployable platform from which a drone can take off and land. The new Nissan LEAF is now available through a pre-sale program in Brazil, Chile and Colombia.

City of Bogota, Columbia launches electric taxi pilot; part of C40-CCI EV Network

SEAT to launch 6 electric and plug-in hybrid models, develop smaller version of MEB for lower-cost EVs

SEAT President Luca de Meo also announced at the company’s annual media conference that the CUPRA Formentor, the new CUV that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, will be built at the Martorell factory. Study estimates ~4M children worldwide develop asthma each year because of NO2 air pollution

Findings from the study: An estimated 4 million children developed asthma each year from 2010 to 2015 due to exposure to NO 2 pollution, which primarily comes motor vehicle exhaust. The researchers estimate that most children lived in areas below the current WHO guideline of 21 parts per billion for annual average NO 2.
