Toyota long ago made a commitment to hybrids, with the Prius being the most successful result of the company’s commitment to combining electricity and gasoline. The Flagstaff EAA was thrilled and honored to have EV Jerry and his plug-in hybrid car "the Spirit of DC" visit on Sunday 2/22. The club joins some 45 other clubs who have already been "fingered" and are now accompanying EV Jerry and Spirit on his trek across the country. Truly a technological marvel, getting 100+ MPG.
