In this case we met with Mark and Annette, who purchased a 2021 Toyota Prius Prime. The Prius Prime is a good compromise, providing great gas mileage with a fully electric option for shorter trips.

The club joins some 45 other clubs who have already been "fingered" and are now accompanying EV Jerry and Spirit on his trek across the country. Jerry patiently explained the workings of the plug hybrid Prius to all of us who had never seen one before. Truly a technological marvel, getting 100+ MPG.

Our friend Doug, of Tesla Motors Club fame, was at the event and went for a ride in the diminutive one, armed with a video camera to record the ride, the results of which we are happy to share with you after the break.
