Study finds that bioenergy crops could have a significant impact on the hydrologic cycle of a region
Green Car Congress

used a mechanistic multi-layer canopy-root-soil model to (i) capture the eco-physiological acclimations of bioenergy crops under climate change, and (ii) predict how hydrologic fluxes are likely to be altered from their current magnitudes. It’s already a scarce resource across the globe, and the need for it is only going to increase.
