Drivers will no longer receive the same amounts they did previously for purchasing electric cars, as Germany announced it would reduce the amount of money it gives consumers for switching to sustainable powertrains. Starting in January 2023, car buyers will receive €4,500 for EVs with a list price of up to €40,000.
