Ben Moss of Richmond County, Mark Brody of Union County, and George Cleveland of Onslow County filed House Bill 1049 on Wednesday. The bill would provide DOT with $50k to REMOVE electric charging stations & ban EV charging on government property unless they also offer free gasoline or diesel.

Ford Motor Company began production of its EcoBoost engines ( earlier post ) at Cleveland Engine Plant No. EcoBoost technology combines turbocharging and direct gasoline injection to deliver up to 20% improved fuel economy, 15% fewer CO 2 emissions and superior driving performance compared with larger displacement engines.
