A month or so ago word was Toyota was postponing the new generation Lithium Prius. Now, however, we continue to see more information on Toyota's own prototype plug-in Lithium Prius. However, the cars can run only short distances before they run out of juice. After all, grid electricity is cleaner and cheaper than gasoline.

And we all won’t be driving a Prius either – I’ll have my electric pickup truck in a few years too. Without gasoline, today’s transportation fails. Consumer confidence in electric transportation is growing – aided in no small part by $4 to $5 gallons of gasoline.

The Appraisal 2010 Prius Delivers Record Mileage and Accelerates. Annual use of an EV should be less than the average cost of $8,000 per year for using a gasoline in many countries including the USA.
