Group14 Technologies, a global provider of silicon-carbon composite materials for lithium-ion markets, and SK materials, one of the world’s top manufacturers of special gases and industrial gases, are forming a joint venture to build a factory for lithium-silicon battery materials in South Korea.

But I was still stoked to exhibit the car at every LA area EV Expo, Earth Day Event and Plug-In spectacular. My brand new battery, made by LG in South Korea, was included in the recall. Toyota clearly had no love or expertise for pure Battery Electric Vehicles and was only interested in getting credit for a compliance car.
