The Citroen eC3 gets a 29.2kWh battery pack that is being sourced from Chinese firm Svolt, although Citroen is looking to localize it in the long run. China’s Geely Group bought a 50 percent stake in Smart in 2019, so you might think its Chinese owner might be fuelling the Aussie reboot. LSH Auto is already Benz’s biggest auto retailer, owning 11 Mercedes-Benz dealers across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Both can be DC charged at a rate of 150kW.

The local dealers have no idea. We expect a company like Ampere to be communicative and dealers to have information or be able to get information on something as was important as batteries.
