Not my own City of Torrance, still content to suck at the monetary teat of the Torrance Refinery which continues to leak, flare and spew toxic pollution into the air we breathe every second of every day. So did Hoboken, New Jersey; New Britain, Connecticut; and Montgomery County, Maryland here in the USA. And that list is growing.

What we’re not breathing is clean air, because the smoke from the La Canada-Flintridge fire, about 38 miles from here, is still making air quality hazardous and people in the L.A. basin are being advised not to spend too much time outdoors and to keep their doors and windows closed and their air conditioners running.
