For a plug-in hybrid it is, but those prices are some $15,000 more than the equivalent Outlander petrol versions. Is it good value?

But whereas the EV6 is based on a dedicated EV architecture, the Niro relies on an ICE platform to allow for the petrol engine for the hybrid model. But even as a hybrid the Niro doesn’t come particularly cheap. However, the high voltage battery warranty is capped at 150,000km, which is slightly less than most other electric cars.
