The extra lead-acid batteries will run the car about twelve miles on just electricity and they increase gas mileage when the car's using both power sources. It takes about two days.

We asked them about localization and the company told us this - "Battery, Charger, Tyre, Chassis, DC Converter, and other mechanical parts: 60% parts localization". The dealer told us that Parts like Battery Pack, Charger, DC-DC converter, chassis, Wire harness are made locally. Rest is imported. So let us see then.

Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not. at least, the recycling infrastructure for the well-established lead-acid batteries is robust.
