So, the used batteries are almost arbitrarily cheap since an arbitrarily large fraction of their cost of production can be loaded on their use in transportation.

I also think it will be cheap, which is why I think someone will buy the group. Although Climate change is a massive problem, it always comes down to money with the real decision makers so rite now you could say people use only steam reforming but we havent really developed H2 technology much have we???

Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not.
