Sounds good to us; driving the upcoming Chevy Volt 200 miles only to find out the cars charger plug doesnt fit the jack at the hotel sure isnt my idea of a good time. Military behind them, will they decide the world must drive the "Corvette" and by the way, why name a car after an old forsaken navel vessel from the 1930s? A Comment?

The island has 40,000 inhabitants and an energy infrastructure characterised by a large proportion of wind energy. In a flurry of electric vehicle activity, three back-to-back announcements this week have placed a spotlight on Oregon’s plans to be the friendliest state in the nation in which to build, sell and buy electric cars. According to Nissan, the company plans to introduce its upcoming electric car in Oregon in late 2010.
