I may be most interested affordable electric cars, but this makes sense to me. I only wish GM had the smarts back in the day to have rebranded the EV1 as a Caddy and continued limited run production. The car was described by EV Goddess Chelsea Sexton as "überpragmatic." They showed a prototype Electric C30.

I wrote back in December about my unhappy experience attempting to charge my loaner LEAF at San Francisco City Hall's electric car charging stations. Parking in these Coulomb charge stations is restricted to city-owned vehicles and Car Share companies under threat of towing. But one shouldn't have to know Bob to plug in your new car.

The EV discussion groups take this up and, with huge amounts of optimism, tell us that we will soon have the ability to instantly charge our electric cars at home or on the highway. A rule of thumb would suggest that a car such as this gets about 5 miles of range for each kilowatt hour of energy taken from the battery.
