Once again, a conference on plug-in cars. Coming on the heels of the Google/Brookings event in Washington, D.C., Plug-in 2008 in San Jose, California witnessed a noon-time address by new heavy-weight convert, Andy Grove, former CEO of Intel. I wish I knew what’s holding Gore back from full-throated support for plug-in cars.

We may need ICE vehicles to get there (gas cars will serve for long distance travel even as EVs come to market, I believe) but they should be parked and forgotten. Google Guys Th!nk Their Rechargeit.org campaign really makes the connections between renewable power and plug-in cars. I believe Google would find Th!nk
