EV MYTH ONE: Manufacturing EVs is just as bad for the environment as ICEVs. Electric vehicles typically have a smaller carbon footprint than gasoline cars, even when accounting for the electricity used for charging. With that in mind, the question becomes: does an EV have a smaller carbon footprint over its lifetime than an ICEV?
