But it now looks like the California Air Resources Board (CARB) is about to adopt some new regulations which could put it out of business quickly.

It is aggressively in talks with Portland General Electric Plug-In Charging Stations , ( POR ) and other states including Michigan, and California that are scrambling to offer incentives. Today we could be using lead-acid EVs, lead-carbon-acid EVs, or nickel metal hydride or lithium-ion hybrids.

GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do Additionally, I had a close frind out in California that just about creamed in his pants when he was able to lease one.
