Fuel cell hybrid buses are deployed in North America, at AC Transit and SunLine in California, and CTTRANSIT in Connecticut. Transit operators indicated that government funding will be needed to cover incremental costs of purchasing and operating fuel cell buses through 2015, based on current commercialization timeframes.
