Reva Electric Car Company (REVA) will unveil two new electric car models at the Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA) next week. The REVA NXR. The REVA NXR is a four-seat, three-door hatchback family car suitable for urban driving that can be ordered at the show, with production scheduled to commence at the beginning of 2010.

It’s not just the big name manufacturers lining up new concepts for the Frankfurt International Motor Show – the Reva Electric Car Company (REVA) will also be getting in on the act. As part of its expansion, the company is also building a new vehicle assembly plant in Bangalore with a capacity of 30,000 units a year.

My suggestion to the company would be to actually build a grounds-up EV. Jay’s first EV was the DC motor Reva, which he bought way back in the early 2000s. The company is in the middle of evaluating which of the models to electrify next. Candidates are: Safari, Punch and Altroz. The rest of the water comes from recycling.
