The Group is presenting the first two track sections for testing autonomous vehicles and assistance systems at the new BMW Group Future Mobility Center in Sokolov, the Czech Republic. At the new test site, the BMW Group will continue to advance electrification, digitalization and automated driving.

The co-development of software functions is based on the current BMW Automated Driving software stack first launched with the BMW iX in 2021, which will be further extended in the next generation through this cooperation. This forms the backbone for intelligent driver assistance systems.

At the Paris Motos Show, BMW introduced an expanded set of services, device support and availabilitiy in more countries. The personal mobility companion BMW Connected already comprises many functions designed to help users with their daily mobility needs. The update of BMW Connected will also cover the new Apple Watch Series 2.
