BMW is providing the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Davis with ten battery-electric, BMW i3 models for 18 months. The vehicles are 2015-2016 models, with battery technology that enables an everyday range of about 80-90 miles—suited for in-town driving, and enough for travel between Davis and Sacramento.

Lyft claims it is the fastest-growing ride share service and is available in 190 cities worldwide.

You could do V2G through the DC port of the vehicle—this is what we are doing with school buses here in California, where our charging station converts AC to DC and then connects to the DC port of the vehicle to provide power.
