Transport continues to contribute disproportionally to Europe’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, poor air quality and noise, and still uses the least efficient modes to move people and goods according to a new report from the European Environmental Agency (EEA).

This goal is achievable; with more EVs hitting the market and EV technology is rapidly improving, the future of EVs is here. For example, the market share for plug-in vehicles in Germany grew from 3% in 2019 to 13.5% in the same period.

The standard EV80 model can be configured as a passenger bus, transporting eight people plus the driver. Initial deliveries were made to customers in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Slovenia with developments in Belgium, Italy, France and Spain due to be confirmed shortly as Maxus accelerates its Europe-wide growth plans.
