Quick charging of the batteries can be performed in 30 minutes or a full charge can be accomplished in as little as 1.5 Freight loading and unloading time can be used to charge the battery pack. The batteries can be charged by the diesel engine during on-highway operations, and by using a DC charger at a charging location.

Car users were more likely to disagree with the replacement of existing car charges by pay-as-you-drive schemes (37% vs. 24% of public transport users).
