Your power comes from the grid as 240 Volts AC. The panels generate DC current that varies with the solar power. The inverter converts the DC solar into AC power that can power the house or be directed back into the Grid as well as connecting up the Battery packs that uses 48 Volt DC. .

Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. Posted by: Nido Info | Apr 14, 2009 12:45:31 PM wrong Howard. So is the management in Washinton DC.
