Spark EV newly LEED-certified motor plant 6% powered by renewables

The electric motor and drive unit for the Chevrolet Spark EV are being manufactured in Maryland under a rooftop solar array in a newly LEED-certified building. The greening of the General Motors Baltimore Operations complex included the addition of 580 kilowatts of solar to the roof of its e-Motor building.

BAE Systems reports more than 3,500 HybriDrive series hybrid systems delivered or ordered worldwide
