Mitsubishi Motors and the State of Hawaii to begin effort on EV infrastructure and deployment

MMNA) and the State of Hawaii have entered into an agreement that will seek to vastly improve the infrastructure and deployment for the new Mitsubishi i and other advanced 100% electric-powered vehicles (EVs) for residents. Licensed drivers will be able to test drive the new Mitsubishi i at Cutter Mitsubishi in Aiea, Hawaii later this fall.

Eliminating these subsystems reduces both capital and operations and maintenance costs and improves turbine reliability. Sandia-led team designs feasible hydrogen fuel-cell coastal research vessel; implications for large hydrogen-fueled vessels

The 10 hydrogen fuel-cell racks are evenly distributed between Starboard and Port fuel cell rooms, allowing the vessel to continue operation at reduced power if one space must be taken out of service for maintenance. The gas suppliers are currently working to make renewable hydrogen more broadly available. This is 91.4% Coast Guard.
