Its engine does not emit any harmful byproducts like smoke or other emissions that pollute the environment as it runs on clean energy. Most of the electric cars available today are 2 seaters and it can get quite uncomfortable if a third person tries to squeeze in. Pretty futuristic, huh!

Neutral richii @ Apr 19th 2009 5:28PM @ everyone, I can see what your trying to say, that without gas powered vehicles that a much larger strain will be put on electrical facilities that also contribute to air pollution and degrade our environment. but its never even been close to the amount of garbage that gas power vehicles produce.

Most charge points available today take much longer to re-energize batteries than it does to fill a gas-powered cars tank. Perhaps more importantly, quickly "pouring" electricity into many of the batteries available today may stress the very expensive component and shorten their useful lifetime.
