Hybrid automobiles work with two engines. By comparison, conventional hybrids must rely on gasoline-powered engines to recharge their batteries and get between 40 and 60 mpg. Saturn and a 200-horsepower electric motor. Auto makers have tinkered with them since the early 1900s, but the cars didn't gain much attention in the U.S.

They only have that many models because they use the same chassis and drivetrain to build 3 different cars, one branded as a Chevy, the next a Pontiac, then a Saturn, etc. That way you have a fair basis of comparison, you know, apples to apples and all that jazz. The first VCRs were well over a $1000.00 Never again.
